Celia is coping with too many problems: she forgets her school homework; her parents keep fighting; the local bully teases her about being half Chinese; she can't keep her room clean; she forgets to practice her violin. Surprised by her scientist father's gift of a robot for her birthday, ten-year-old Celia comes to appreciate its help in organizing her chaotic day-to-day life until "Robot" suddenly mysteriously disappears.
