Many people know the story of Frankenstein, but fewer know the story of the author Mary Shelley. Shelley grew up in a difficult home and eventually escaped by running away with the poet, and her future husband, Percy Bysshe Shelley. She traveled throughout Europe, meeting other authors and intellectuals. At 21 years old she wrote the incredibly famous book, Frankenstein. Illustrations are digitally rendered with high level of detail through the use patterns and other designs.
The author lives in Canada and has written over thirty-five books.
