Book Description
for Teddy Rabbit by Kathy Stinson and Stéphane Poulin
From the Publisher
Tony and his toy rabbit, named Rabbit, went everywhere together: to the library, to the market, to the park. At day care, Tony announced that he and Rabbit were going to the Teddy Bears' Picnic with his dad. Andrew said that Rabbit wasn't a teddy and couldn't go, but Ms. Manning laughted and asked Andrew if he'd ever heard of a Teddy Rabbit. Tony sure hoped Ms Manning was right. On the way to the picnic as they were waiting for the subway, a man accidentally knocked Rabbit out of Tony's arms and onto the track. The station attendant called ahead to stop the train and then rescued Rabbit! Tony hugged Rabbit so tight! Now he was only worried about if Rabbit would be allowed into the Teddy Bears' Picnic.
