Narrator Mayuri Bhandari carefully crafts an outstanding performance as TJ, who, through a lot of trial and error, discovers self-acceptance and maybe even love. Bhandari moves smoothly among the story's diverse characters, making each one vivid and distinguishable, realistic and flawed.
