Gr 2-4-In this 27th adventure in the popular series, "Dragon Masters," Drake and Bo are given a special mission by Jayana, the Head Wizard. A powerful magical object has been stolen from the castle, and the two boys and their dragons must travel to a land called Gothica to retrieve it. The object is a dream orb that a wizard can use to open a pathway to the dream world, where he could use magic to make dreams become real- something that could prove very dangerous. Bo and Drake travel to the dark and haunted land of Gothica to confront the evil wizard Zoltan, who they believe has stolen the orb. Fans of the Dragon Master series will find much to like in this installment. West has managed to create the perfect formula for these exciting but straightforward adventures that promise more to come with each new story. VERDICT Purchase where the rest of the series is popular.
