Kyo Maclear: Hello, my name is Kyo Maclear. Kyo comes from my Japanese mother and Maclear comes from my British father. I've been told that Kyo means city in Japanese it's the Kyo in Tokyo. I've also been told it means today. I'm used to having my name mispronounced in so many different ways, Kayo, and Kio and even Keyhole, which doesn't even sound like a person's name. If someone needs a little help I usually tell them my name rhymes with Rio, Kyo, Rio, you know as in Brazil. Then I usually the light go on and they say, "Ah, yes I see oh."
