In Croatia, the C and the S in Plecas have accent marks so that it's pronounced Ple-chis . However, because we don't have those accent marks in the United States, I usually just say Plecas. If I'm going to go all Croatian with my name, they actually pronounce Js like Ys, so if I was gonna do it 100%, it would be Yennifer Plechis, and because I don't really feel like being Yennifer Plechis, I just keep it Jennifer Plecas. So, in the end I'm pretty flexible about how people call my name. If they say Jennifer Plecas or Yennifer Plechis, I'm good with that. Mom, hey lady. But for the record, officially it's Jennifer Plecas.
