Khoa Le: Hello, my name is Khoa Le. Khoa is it actually a popular name for boys in Vietnam. I guess my mom was always expecting a boy, so this was a name she picked out for me, and she's always raised me in a somewhat boyish way. I always hated my name growing up as my classmates would just look at my name and how I was raised, and treated me as a tomboyish girl. Deep down, I know I'm just a softy with aimless daydreaming, and my deepened and imaginative world. I used to think about changing one letter in my name, and it would have such nice and dreamy meaning. For example, hoa means flower, or khế means star.

But in the end, Khoa has got so familiar to me, that I can not respond well to any other nickname I get for myself, so I guess I would have to learn to live with it. Khoa is my first name and Le is my last name. Khoa Le is how it's pronounced.
