Usually, Synthia is spelled C-Y-N-T-H-I-A, mine is spelled S-Y-N-T-H-I-A. And generally, too, Saint James is abbreviated S-T. J-A-M-E-S. I teasingly tell people that my name isn't Street James, it's Saint James and it's spelled S-A-I-N-T J-A-M-E-S. So my name literally is three words, Synthia Saint James. As a author and illustrator, it's really wonderful to have a name that's a little different so that it stands out and it's not a stage name like what an actor or a model would have, but it's definitely a different spelling with exactly the same pronunciation.
