Kathryn Erskine: Hello, my name is Kathryn Erskine. Rhymes with "her skin." Sometimes people want to pronounce Erskine with a long i sound, but just think about Kathryn walking around in her skin and you'll always pronounce it right. It you'd like to call me Kathy instead of Kathryn, that's great. I was usually Mary Kathryn when I got in trouble or I was at British school. Actually, sometimes I was in trouble when I was at a British school which is perhaps why hearing, "Kathryn," always makes me a little nervous.
