Lulu Delacre: Hello, my name is Lulu Delacre. Hola, mi nombre es Lulu Delacre. Although Lulu is actually not the name that appears in my birth certificate. Lulu is a nickname. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and named Maria Luisa for my grandmother from my father's side. When we went on a sabbatical abroad in France, the lady that used to take care of us sisters, this lady started calling me Marie Lou, Marie Lou, and from Marie Lou, Loulou. When we traveled back to the island of Puerto Rico, the name Loulou, spelled in French L-O-U-L-O-U, lost both the Os, became Lulu, L-U-L-U, and also lost the phonetical accent, and now I respond to Lulu.
