Kid Haile: Hello, my name is Kid Haile. Kid is short for Kidane, and both Kidane and Haile are common Ethiopian and Eritrean names. Kidane means my covenant or vow, and Haile means power. Both names are names I'm proud to have, and not to mention, Kid Haile being a strong name for a children's book author and illustrator.
